The broadcast crew in Get Up were once again in top form, delivering some classic quips and analysis.
Bart Scott made a sensible analogy, and said, “Joe Schoen needs to just tell Saquon, ‘Listen man, we just not that into you.’ You’re out here treating Saquon like a sidepiece. They give him just enough to make him satisfied.”
Fellow host Kimberley A. Martin said, “That’s a great analogy. It is, unfortunately.”
Then Greeny had his two cents, well one cent, “In the commercial, you’ll explain it to me.”
They were talking about the effectiveness of Giants star running back Saquon Barkley.
The New York team is refusing to franchise tag Barkley and that means he could be heading to a new team in the 2024 season.
His departure will free up cap space as he will earn $12.4 million in the coming season.
