“Atlanta would be tough.” – Bears QB Justin Fields on whether he would move to the Falcons if Chicago selects Caleb Williams in the 2024 draft

Bears incumbent quarterback Justin Fields wants to stay in Chicago but understands that with the 2024 draft coming he may have no choice.

The Bears have the number one overall pick after training with the Panthers last years, while also holding the number one slot as well.

Pundits are talking of Caleb Williams moving to the Bears which could see Fields off to the Atlanta Falcons.

"Atlanta would be tough. The only con of going back home is just people hitting my phone crazy, wanting tickets to the game," Fields said.

"I think they got a lot of playmakers on the team. Of course, Bijan [Robinson]. They got my boy Kyle [Pitts] there. Of course, Drake [London]. They probably need one more receiver, but they definitely got some guys over there. And their defense was good this year, too."

Fields did make clear that Chicago is his out and out choice, as he enters his fourth NFL season, but even bookmakers have made Williams the favorite to move to the Bears as number one.

Fields just wants the decision to be over and done with, as he prepares to be the player we know he is.
