New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft took time out of his busy day to offer some dating advice to American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift.
On Saturday, the Massachusetts native suggested that Swift would have been better off dating legendary Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski instead of Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. The video went viral online with many fans finding Kraft’s advice comical and amusing. The recommendation seemed to fall flat with several “no” responses from the audience Kraft was addressing.

Robert Kraft has known Taylor Swift for over a decade. He shared that Swift’s first stadium concert took place on the Patriots turf after the businessman convinced Swift and her family that they would sell-out a stadium venue. As a gift, Kraft presented Swift with an framed ticket from 2010 concert when the musician visited Gillette Stadium on December 17, 2023.
Kraft joked that Swift has “done pretty well since then.”
Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce, which started earlier this year, has captivated NFL audiences and helped the game grow, especially with the female demographic. The league registered record viewership figures this season during the playoffs and Super Bowl. Many credit Swift’s presence at games for the rapid rise in popularity amongst a new fanbase.
Gronkowski has been in a relationship with TV host Camille Kostek since 2015 so that chances of a new partner seem highly unlikely.
