This opinion contradicts the present standings, where the Heat is sitting at a modest eighth position in the Eastern Conference with a 31-25 record.
However, Pierce maintains a high opinion of Miami, given its striking victory over the Celtics in 2023.

The seven-game face-off during the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals between Miami and Boston was a nail-biting experience for fans.
Following an early 3-0 lead by the Heat, the Celtics surprisingly responded by claiming victory in the following three games to even the standing.
