EXCLUSIVE! Detroit Tigers rising star Parker Meadows reveals wedding date and destination, after getting engaged this offseason

In an exclusive conversation with Overtime Heroics Senior Editor, Reggie Roberts, Detroit Tigers outfielder Parker Meadows spills the beans on his upcoming wedding plans after a recent engagement during the last offseason.

Reggie kicks off the conversation by mentioning the news about nine people in the team tying the knot or getting engaged during the break. Parker affirmed the rumors and revealed that the magic number is indeed nine, spanning across coaches and others in the organization. Next, the MLB outfielder playfully suggests there might be something special in the water causing this love outbreak.

When asked about his engagement or marriage Parker spilled the beans that he got engaged in late December 2023.

 

Getting to the matter of heart, Reggie dives into Parker’s love story, asking about his fiancée, Hailey Sales. Parker shares that they’ve been high school sweethearts, with their romance sparking during his senior year at Grayson High School.

 

With the timeline set, Reggie moves on to the big day, asking when Parker and Hailey plan to tie the knot. Parker shares that the date is set for January 11th, 2025. The lovebirds will be saying “I do” in Roswell, Georgia.

Parker Meadows MLB Draft and Debut

In the 2018 MLB Draft, Meadows was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the second round, 44th overall. He signed with the Tigers, receiving a $2.5 million signing bonus.

On November 15, 2022, Meadows was added to the Tigers’ 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.

Meadows made his MLB debut on August 21, and in his third at-bat, he secured his first major league hit. His first MLB home run, a three-run walk-off, occurred on August 25 against the Houston Astros, contributing to a 4–1 home win.
