In an exclusive interview with Overtime Heroics senior editor Reggie Roberts, Detroit Tigers player Parker Meadows expressed his admiration for the remarkable turnaround led by Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell.
Meadows, a self-professed football enthusiast, discussed his eagerness to witness a similar wave of enthusiasm and energy from the city of Detroit for the Tigers, drawing parallels between the two sports.
During the interview, Reggie Roberts asked Meadows about his excitement for the Lions" games, to which the Tigers player responded, “I"m a big football fan."
Despite not being able to attend any games in person, Meadows acknowledged the thrill of watching Dan Campbell transform the Lions" program, bringing a special kind of energy to the city.
“No, unfortunately, I didn"t get to make any games, but they were very fun to watch just to see, you know, Dan Campbell kind of turn that whole program around is special. Also want to see the whole city of Detroit like I mean even us on TV. You can just feel the energy and excitement from that city. It was really fun to watch," remarked Meadows.
