Duke centre Kyle Filipowski maa have avoided major injury after a court-storming following the Blue Devils’ loss to Wake Forest on Saturday.
While the incident was freakish ESPN’s Chris Canty said it could have been avoided if Filipowski had more court awareness.
He believes the Duke player should shoulder some responsibility.
“He’s acting like he’s going on a walk through the quad on campus … he has to have more awareness of the situation and have urgency about getting the hell off the court.”
The incident highlights NCAA concerns, with Duke asking the organizers to look into the situation.
