“I’m gonna give this team everything” Ben Simmons Pledges Full Dedication to Brooklyn Nets, Amidst return from injury

The three-time NBA All-Star, Ben Simmons has returned to the Brooklyn Nets after suffering from multiple injuries. The Brooklyn Nets were defeated against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a concluding score 86-101. 

In the game against the Timberwolves, Simmons recorded 4 points, 8 rebounds, and one assist. The Nets have defeated the Memphis Grizzlies with a concluding score of 111-86. In the game, Simmons posted 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. 

According to Eric Slater, Brooklyn Nets reporter via NBACentral, Simmons had recently shared that, “I’m gonna give this team everything I got, regardless of how I feel.” 

This season the two-time NBA All-Defensive First Team player’s average is 6.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 5.7 assists. His stats after injuries are changed understandably. During his rookie year, he posted an average of 15.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.2 assists. 

In the 2016 NBA Draft, Simmons was selected in the first round as the first overall pick. From 2016 to 2022 he played with the Philadelphia 76ers and then joined the Brooklyn Nets. After suffering from multiple injuries his All-Star career took a hit. 

However, his determination has been absolutely astonishing considering the recovery he has made from many injuries suffered in his career and he is still set on to give it all to the Nets. The squad stand in the season with a score of 22-35 and are occupying eleventh spot in Eastern Conference.
