WATCH: Max Strus drains incredible game-winner from HALF-COURT as Cavaliers top Mavericks in thriller

The Cleveland Cavaliers secured a thrilling victory over the Dallas Mavericks with a clutch 3-pointer from Max Strus, winning the game 121-119.

The Mavericks had a chance to win when Luka Doncic assisted for an easy dunk, giving them a 119-118 lead with just under 2 seconds remaining.

However, Strus received the inbound pass, took a single dribble, and nailed a shot from beyond half-court, sealing the win for the Cavaliers as time expired.

Strus had an exceptional performance, scoring 21 points, including sinking four three-pointers in just over a minute during the fourth quarter.

It is worth noting that all of his baskets came from beyond the three-point arc, with his last shot being from considerably longer range.

Meanwhile, Doncic had a remarkable game with 45 points, 14 assists, and nine rebounds, but it was not enough to overcome Strus’ heroics.

The victory propelled the Cavaliers to a 38-19 record, while the Mavericks dropped to 33-25.

This win marked Cleveland’s second consecutive victory after two disappointing losses following the All-Star break.

Additionally, the Cavaliers completed a season sweep over the Mavericks, having previously beaten them on December 27 and in this rematch.
