Kenny Yeboah alludes to Mecole Hardman leaking the Jets’ offensive game plan to the Eagles

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has been accused by former teammate Kenny Yeboah of leaking the New York Jets" game plan against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Hardman previously played for the Jets before being traded to the Chiefs.

It is alleged that Hardman provided the game plan to Eagles players he knew from his time at Georgia in an attempt to ensure Philadelphia"s victory.

The Eagles ultimately lost by 6 points. Hardman has gained significant media attention after catching the game-winning touchdown in the Super Bowl.

The controversy began when Hardman criticized his former team, leading to a response from Jets punter Thomas Morstead, who cautioned against taking information from disgruntled former employees.

Yeboah then supported Morstead"s statement and claimed that Hardman did not mention his own work ethic or how the Eagles obtained the game plan.

It is noted that six members of the Eagles" roster were former Bulldogs teammates of Hardman. Although Yeboah was on injured reserve for the game in question, he would have been present in some team meetings alongside Hardman.

The text also highlights Hardman"s dissatisfaction with his time at the Jets, as well as his successful performance with the Chiefs, culminating in the Super Bowl victory.

Mecole Hardman, former wide receiver for the New York Jets, recently criticized the team"s coaching and offensive philosophy in a podcast interview.

In response, some Jets players, including Thomas Morehead and Sauce Gardner, took to social media to indirectly address Hardman.

Morehead warned about giving too much importance to disgruntled former employees, suggesting that Hardman was upset about losing playing time to a rookie.

Gardner, in a now-deleted tweet, hinted that Hardman may have leaked the Jets" game plan to the Philadelphia Eagles before their matchup on October 15th.

It is speculated that Hardman"s connection to several players on the Eagles, from his time at Georgia Bulldogs, could be the reason behind this alleged leak.

However, despite the alleged leak, the Jets still managed to secure a 20-14 victory over the Eagles in that game.

In another episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss the ongoing drama surrounding Hardman and the Jets, including the team"s low grades in the NFLPA"s recent report card.

The report card revealed that the Jets" coaching staff, led by Robert Saleh, did not receive favorable rankings from players across the league.

Additionally, the podcast hosts analyzed the Jets" decision to release Laken Tomlinson, a move that now requires the team to find three new starting offensive linemen for the upcoming season.

Justin and Mike offered their insights on potential free agent signings and strategies for the 2024 NFL Draft to address this concern.
