Cream Abdul-Jabbar, real name Robbie Avila chatted to Dan La Batard after a video of the Indiana State sophomore center went viral.
This time last week Kentucky Sports Radio’s Matt Jones posted a highlight reel of Avila’s 35-point performance in the Sycamores’ victory over Evansville and now he is hot on the reels.
The post was viewed 17 million times and showed the goggles-wearing centre draining points.
He also goes by the nicknames Larry Nerd and Steph Blurry.
“It’s been a lot of fun,” Avila told La Batard.
