Texas Quarterback, Arch Manning has reportedly decided to stay clear of EA Sport’s upcoming College Football 25 video game.

Announced by Anwar Richardson, the prodigal athlete is skipping the chance to be a part of the much-awaited game said to release this summer.

Richardson maintains Manning’s primary focus would be real-world football, sidelining the video game for now.

The game, which will capture all 134 FBS teams, already got the green light from over 10,000 athletes.

Athletes volunteering to be represented in the game can look forward to at least $600 and a complimentary copy of the game.

Yet, Manning has chosen a different path, fixated on polishing his skills on the field. While Manning remains steadfast with his decision.

Quinn Ewers, Texas’ 247Sports Composite former No. 1 prospect, has made his way into the game.

Named Texas’ 2023 starter, Ewers, released an impressive performance last season leading Texas to College Football Playoffs.

With a total of 3,479 passing yards and 22 touchdowns, Ewers has set a new bar for emerging rookies like Manning.

Though Manning’s overall playtime during his freshman season at Texas was limited, he did manage to complete two passes for 30 yards as he played back up to Ewers.

Coming from the lineage of the former No. 1 prospect according to the Class of 2022, Manning is gearing up to claim his spot in the upcoming season.

While Ewers stands as a tough competitor, Manning’s determination to prioritize on-field development could turn out to be his winning strategy.
