Phoenix Suns Drew Eubanks and Detroit Pistons Isaiah Stewart were involved in an ugly incident that on February 14 at the Footprint Center. While Stewart received a three-game suspension for his role in the encounter, Eubanks left with bloody gums and “looser teeth.”
The police incident report of the fight between the two NBA stars was obtained by TMZ and more details have been released.
According to Eubanks, Stewart approached him after getting off the Pistons team bus prior to the game and had a few words for the 6’10” center. The report claims Eubanks tried to avoid a confrontation and walk away but Stewart was unwilling to back away.
“You wanna run it back? We’re right here. We can do it right now,” said Stewart when getting off the bus according to the report.

The incident escalated and Eubanks was hit was a punch right to his teeth causing his gums to bleed.
“My teeth definitely are like looser and they hurt,” said Eubanks according to the statement.
The hostility between the two players apparently began after a fiery game a few months ago. Stewart arrived in Phoenix upset about the last matchup between the two big men.
According to TMZ, Eubanks had initially said he wanted to prosecute but withdrew that request a few days further.
Despite the blow to the teeth, Eubanks went on to play 18 minutes in the game and finished with 6 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals.
