Adam Schefter is one of the most well-known, informed and connected men in the U.S. sporting landscape. It comes with the territory when you are one of the biggest NFL insiders around.
Since graduating from the University of Michigan and Northwestern University, the reporter has worked his way up the sports journalism ladder. He finally found his place with ESPN where he has now been for 15 years.
Working at one of the largest sports networks in the world has its perks and Schefter has had the opportunity to get to know some of best in the business and created some strong relationship.
In a recent interview on the Pardon My Take podcast, Schefter opened up on the strong bond he shares with fellow insider Adrian Wojnarowski, better known as “Woj” to many sports fans.
“I love Woj, he is all over things,” said Schefter. “Woj knows me I would say, professionally speaking, better than my wife.”

Schefter went on to explain that although the two insiders focus on different sports (Woj is an NBA specialist), the two share a lot in common. Many of their day-to-day issues are incomprehensible to people working in other sectors.
“I know what he is feeling. I know what he is going through,” added Schefter.
Woj and Schefter obviously share a special bond that is beneficial for both parties. The provide each other with advice and moral support in a fast-paced and extremely difficult job.
Schefter revealed the conversations between the two go beyond sports with S revealing the two talk about their careers, the business side, and other big picture life issues.
