The Boston sports media is one of the toughest in the country and want all four of their major sports teams to be in contention every season.
And even if they are smashing opponents to all parts of the court, it seems their never have enough in them to give due credit.
Take the case of esteemed Boston sports commentator Michael Felger, who watched the Celtics annihilate the Golden State Warriors 140-88.
Swifties at a Mega Death concert have more enthusiastic than Felger.
The Celtics are top of the Eastern Conference, are on an 11-game winning streak and just hammered a quality Warriors team by 52 points.
Felger’s lukewarm reaction has gone viral.
“I’m not blaming you for, you know, blowing doors,” Felger told his co-host Tony Massarotti, “I’m just saying it didn’t tell me anything. I guess what I am criticizing is anyone who takes that and says, ‘See, we’re ready.’ Like, ah, you hit some 3s in the first quarter, man; really?”
We wonder what they will say after the team’s 104-105 loss to Cleveland on Tuesday night.
Prepare for the night of long knives.
