Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end sensation, Travis Kelce, has broken his silence on the highs and lows of life in the limelight alongside global pop icon Taylor Swift.
In the episode of his “New Heights” podcast released on Wednesday, Kelce shared experiences during his recent trip to Australia, where he attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Sydney.
Kelce specifically spoke on the extraordinary media attention the couple received upon landing in Australia and the sheer scale of the paparazzi’s presence.
“There were full-on helicopters just flying around. They helicoptered us! Well, not us, Taylor,” Kelce humorously remarked hinting at the intense scrutiny that comes with being in Swift’s orbit.
“This is all because Taylor is the biggest and the best thing possible,” Travis added.
The Super Bowl LVIII champion also got candid about his private tour of the Sydney Zoo with Taylor Swift. From feeding kangaroos to taking selfies, and holding hands while connecting with Australian wildlife, Kelce gave NFL fans and Swifties details about the couple’s adventurous day.
Travis Kelce also provided entertaining commentary on the unique animals they encountered, describing a red panda as “like a friendly raccoon” and expressing awe at a tiger lounging in a treehouse. His excitement peaked as he recounted the thrill of witnessing lions up close.
The Chiefs’ star TE also didn’t shy away from acknowledging the vibrant Australian audience. Describing them as a “rowdy group,” Kelce applauded their infectious energy. He noted that Aussies were even livelier than the audience he encountered in Argentina.
According to reports from the New York Post, Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has plans to visit Singapore to attend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in the city. TMZ has disclosed that Kelce, accompanied by his manager, André Eane, will be flying to Singapore to catch the concluding shows of Swift’s tour.
