The upcoming release of MLB The Show 24 offers various editions for players to choose from, each with its own pre-order rewards and benefits.
Early access is only available in a few editions. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the cover athlete for the Standard Edition, while the Collector’s Edition is themed around the Negro Leagues.
Sony San Diego has a partnership with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and will donate $1 from every sale of the Negro Leagues Edition to support their ongoing preservation efforts.
The Negro Leagues are also featured in the MVP Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition.
MLB The Show 24 will be available on multiple platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
The pre-order rewards are primarily focused on the Diamond Dynasty game mode and include packs, stubs, bat skins, and double daily rewards.
The Standard Edition, available for current and last-gen consoles, can be pre-ordered for $69.99 and $59.99, respectively.
Those who purchase the current-gen version will receive dual entitlement, allowing them to play on both current and next-gen consoles.
Dual entitlement is limited to consoles within the same family.
The release date for the Standard Edition is March 19, 2024.

As it does include Dual Entitlement, players on past generation versions of those consoles will be able to snag the next gen version of their platform and still play on the last gen console.
