The New York Knicks were defeated in the game against the Philadelphia 76ers and their NBA All-Star point guard was clear in his opinions when he was later questioned about how he had played in the game.

The Bob Cousy Award recipient and two-time NCAA champion, Jalen Brunson, led the team with the highest score of 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists. Donte DiVincenzo added 15 points to the scoreboard, including 9 rebounds, and three assists.

Josh Hart ended his game with 9 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists, and Precious Achiuwa posted 8 points and 9 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 10 points and had one rebound against the 76ers.

The concluding score of the match came out to be 79-73 and with the loss, the Knicks, who are standing in the fourth position in Eastern Conference, registered the lowest scoring total by any club considering this season.

Brunson shared his sentiments regarding the game and stated that he “played like dog s**t”. He further shared, as per BR via SNY, “I’ve got to be better, as a player, as a leader, to make sure we’re all ready to go, and we weren’t tonight.”

Hart also mirrored his feelings considering how the match went and mentioned, “We played like s**t. We didn’t shoot the ball well, turnovers were bad. I had six or seven myself.”

The Knicks are also seeing their lineup enfeebled as their other prominent players, such as Mitchell Robinson, All-Star Julius Randle, and OG Anunoby, are absent due to all of them sustaining different injuries. From the 76er’s side, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are not available for the time being as they are both out due to injuries as well.
