“He put the entire country of France in the basket” Bob Fitzgerald delivered an electrifying commentary for Jackson-Davis’ emphatic dunk at Wemby

The Golden State Warriors have recently defeated the San Antonio Spurs with a concluding score of 102-112. The Warriors are currently standing in the Western Conference in tenth place, whereas the Spurs are in 15th place in the same conference. 

From the Warriors, it was Jonathan Kuminga who scored the most, ending his game with 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist. Klay Thompson gets second in the scoreboard tally with 21 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. Chris Paul posted 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. 

Andrew Wiggins ended his night with 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists, and Draymond Green scored 5 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Brandin Podziemski added 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. 

The French phenom, Victor Wembanyama, registered game high-points with 27 points, 14 rebounds, and three assists. Devin Vassell added 17 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. Keldon Johnson ended his night with 16 points, 6 rebounds, and one assist. Zach Collins posted 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists. 

The game also saw Wembanyama attempts halted by Trayce Jackson-Davis who scored 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. During the last moments of the game, Jackson-Davis was with the ball and Wembanyama was covering him from the outside. 

However, Jackson-Davis quickly made his way to the hoop and dunked the basket and the prominent rookie was not able to stop the point. With the successful dunk, both Wembanyama and Jackson-Davis fell to the floor. Bob Fitzgerald, who was on the call, immediately registered excitement and surprise at the attempt and said, “One more bucket or one more stop. He put the entire country of France in the basket. Take that eight-foot wingspan with you.”

His partner shared, “That is his welcome to the league moment.”  

The NBA community also shared their opinions on the dunk Jackson-Davis did on Victor Wembanyama. The Spurs in the next match will face the Houston Rockets and the Warriors will next headlock with the Dallas Mavericks.
