However, Jackson-Davis quickly made his way to the hoop and dunked the basket and the prominent rookie was not able to stop the point. With the successful dunk, both Wembanyama and Jackson-Davis fell to the floor. Bob Fitzgerald, who was on the call, immediately registered excitement and surprise at the attempt and said, “One more bucket or one more stop. He put the entire country of France in the basket. Take that eight-foot wingspan with you.”
His partner shared, “That is his welcome to the league moment.”
