The former prominent head coach of the Syracuse Orange Men’s basketball team, Jim Boeheim, has been announcing games for ESPN this season.
During the match between the NC State Wolfpack and Louisville Cardinals, which the Wolfpack won with a concluding score of 94-85, Boeheim infuriated a lot of supporters with his comments regarding a player.
The Hall of Famer, former head coach of Syracuse who coached the team for more than four decades, extended his comments to one of the players of the Wolfpack who was celebrating by doing a goggles hand motion.
"I don't know why anybody that's got the recent history of these guys is celebrating." – Jim Boeheim 🏀🎙️💀

Boeheim shared, “I don’t know why anybody that’s got the recent history of these guys is celebrating…anything, except I guess being here. That’s all I can say…Let’s not celebrate until we win a game.”
Who thought putting Jim on TV was a good idea? What a miserable grouch. https://t.co/W3I01sMU0n

It took us forever to get Boeheim off the sideline. Why did we need him calling games…… What a miserable human being https://t.co/699nk8Ntcm

Maybe because they enjoy playing a college sport. Maybe because they enjoy being in an ACC tournament, no matter where it’s played. Maybe because the guys came together through the noise and without their leading scorer.
This from the league’s network?? 🤷🏼♂️ https://t.co/8GgDvbtHTR

Boeheim's a clown who had to be forced out. He refused to step down after he was fired. He adds no value to the cast, as I listen to Cory Alexander morph into Tony Romo. https://t.co/U6Qd6vueCG
