Amidst trade rumors swirling around Justin Jefferson, the Minnesota Vikings have reportedly decided not to trade their star wide receiver.

According to credible sports journalists, Dianna Russini and Alec Lewis of The Athletic, reports have emerged that the Vikings have “no plans” to trade Jefferson.

Speculation around the possible team shift for Jefferson gained traction when Jefferson’s former college teammate, Ja’Marr Chase, shared a cryptic tweet, hinting on a potentially controversial turn of events.

“this will be a krazy story to tell.” Chase tweeted

He tweeted a hint that he, Jefferson, and Joe Burrow, another LSU player, might align forces with the Bengals.

Further speculation escalated when former Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert insinuated a possible Jefferson move to Cincinnati Bengals.

“Jefferson to Cincy is in motion.”

Although seen by some as a prank, Eifert’s revelation was further intensified with a video clip shared by ESPN’s Kay Adams.

The video featured an interview with Jefferson from December, with both Adams and Jefferson laughing at the suggestion of Jefferson being clad in Bengal tiger stripes.

However, reliable sources have dispelled these rumors. Redskins and Lewis, trusted sports journalists with The Athletic, have shared that Minnesota Vikings are clear with their strategy – Jefferson is here to stay.

Adding another layer of confirmation, the Vikings too, have reportedly indicated that they plan to retain Jefferson, brushing off any speculations of a trade-off.

Jefferson, being one of the most coveted wide receivers, is still in the purple jersey of Vikings, rebuffing all rumors surrounding his possible transition to Bengals.
