Anthony Davis can’t seem to crack the code against Domantas Sabonis. With his recent loss to the Kings, Davis now sits at a frustrating 0-10 record against Sabonis, underscoring what seems like an unbreakable streak.
In their latest matchup, Davis managed to put up solid numbers with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win for the Lakers. Meanwhile, Sabonis dominated the court with 17 points, a whopping 19 rebounds, and 10 assists, showcasing his versatility and impact on the game.
This is just flat out disrespectful at this point what Sabonis is doing to AD!!! At some point you gotta fight back. God Bless America.

Despite his winless streak, Davis still boasts impressive individual stats when facing off against Sabonis. He’s averaging 23.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, compared to Sabonis’ 13.3 points and 10.6 rebounds. This can be attributed to Sabonis’ earlier years in the league, where he wasn’t the force he is today, while Davis was already well into his career.
However, Davis’ struggles against Sabonis aren’t the only matchups raising eyebrows. He’s also faced challenges against other star big men like Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic, boasting a 1-7 record and losing his last seven games against them, respectively.
On the bright side, Davis has found success against players like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo, with winning records against both.
Yet, when it comes to Davis’ drought against Sabonis, he can take solace in the fact that things could always be worse—just ask Kemba Walker, who famously started his career with a daunting 0-27 record against LeBron James.
