Former three-time NBA champion with the former Miami Heat’s Udonis Haslem has some strong views on the Russell Westbrook of 2017.

The LA Clippers star made his name at the Oklahoma Thunder, where he spent 12 seasons, winning the NBA MVP in 2017.

“People talk, and they get into their feelings, and they say what they want to say about Russ. At one point, this man was the best in the world,” said Udonis Haslem.

The former Heat star said in a podcast this week that after the 2017 season Westbrook was the best player in the world.

He averaged 31.6 points per game, 10.7 rebounds per game and 10.4 assists becoming only the second player after Oscar Robertson to average a 30-point triple double.
