The Detroit Lions had an incredible last season and their winning percentage was impressive. They ended their season with a 12-5 record, and the squad was able to reach the NFC championship game but unfortunately lost the game to San Francisco 49ers.
The Lions have recently announced that they have agreed to multi-year contract extensions with both head coach Dan Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes. Along with them, as per NFL, Chris Spielman, special assistant, has also received an extension.

Sheila Hamp, the owner of the Lions, has mentioned in one of her statements “We are thrilled to have Brad and Dan under contract for the next four seasons. They have been the driving force behind the rebuilding of our football team and the success that we have enjoyed. The continuity they provide for our football program will continue to be the key to our future success on the field.”
The Lions squad under both Campbell and Holmes has achieved great feats. Their presence in the squad has turned things around for the Lions franchise and both are prominently capable of leading the squad to further accomplishments.
Rod Wood who is the president of the team and CEO also shared in a statement extending his positive opinions, “I could not be more proud of the work that Brad, Dan and Chris have done for our organization. They have selflessly worked together to build a winning culture within the Lions. I am excited to continue working with them to create the sustained success that we envision for the team, our fans, and the city of Detroit.”
Last year, Holmes was named PFWA NFL Executive of the Year, whereas Campbell became a finalist for Associated Press Coach of the Year, as per ESPN.
