Leave it to Tom Brady to leave no stone unturned as he heads into his first season as lead commentator on FOX.
Brady, a winner of six Superbowl titles and one ofnthe hardest working players in NFL history turned to another icon of the game Peyton Manning for advice.
Manning is a double Superbowl ring holder winning one for the Colts and another for the Broncos and together with his brother Eli host one of the most popular shows in the country.
“He’s reached out to me for advice,” Manning said of Brady. “I said, ‘Tom, I watch football from my neighbor’s garage on Monday nights. I’m not sure I’m worthy of being called for advice for what you’re about to do'”.
Manning is selling himself short as he is a natural on air as the Manning cast is a breathe of fresh air.
Brady will be looking to add similar verve to go with his broad knowledge of the game when he takes over in the hot seat and it is no wonder he called up Manning.
