As the anticipation builds for the landmark UFC 300 event, lightweight contender Islam Makhachev has made his feelings known regarding one of the highly anticipated matchups on the card.
Makhachev, known for his dominant performances inside the Octagon, recently voiced his disapproval of the “BMF” (Baddest Motherf***er) title fight scheduled for UFC 300. The BMF title was introduced by the UFC in 2019 and has since been contested in select high-profile matchups.
In a candid statement, Makhachev expressed his discontent with the concept of the BMF title, indicating that he does not support the fight’s inclusion in such a significant milestone event.
“Islam Makhachev is not a fan of the BMF title fight at #UFC300,” he said.

The BMF title was initially created to highlight fights between fighters who embody a tough, no-nonsense persona and are known for their grit and determination inside the Octagon.
However, the title has also garnered criticism from some within the MMA community who argue that it detracts from the traditional championship belts and divisions within the UFC.
