Taylor played four years at Arkansas State, from 2014 through 2017. He was a four-time team captain. He served as a senior defensive analyst at Utah State in 2023, and he recently joined the defensive staff at Texas A&M.
Former Tennessee Titans scout Blaise Taylor was apprehended on Thursday under suspicion of a double murder case involving his girlfriend, Jade Benning, and their unborn child.
The tragic events came to light when Benning was rushed to a hospital on February 25, 2023. She was carrying a five-month-old fetus, allegedly fathered by Taylor.

Despite medical efforts, both Benning and the unborn child succumbed to the poisoning on March 6, 2023.
Taylor’s association with the Tennessee Titans adds a layer of complexity to the case. While known primarily as a former player for Arkansas State University, where he played from 2014 to 2017, Taylor had also served as a scout for the Titans.
However, uncertainties persist regarding his employment status with the team at the time of the alleged crimes.
The Titans have provided limited clarity on Taylor’s tenure, stating that he worked for the team from 2021 to 2023. However, they have not confirmed whether he was still employed during the period surrounding the tragic incident.
Sources close to the matter suggest Taylor may not have been with the team during the 2023 Scouting Combine, which commenced shortly after the events in question.
