Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has issued a bold challenge to Jake Paul ahead of their highly anticipated boxing match scheduled for July.

In a recent social media post, Tyson shared a training video, accompanied by a direct message to his opponent.

The video, uploaded to Twitter on Friday, showcases Tyson’s intense training regimen as he prepares to step back into the ring.

Alongside the footage, Tyson posed a rhetorical question to Paul: “You still wanna f–k with me?” The post was captioned with the hashtag “#PaulTyson,” further amplifying the anticipation surrounding the upcoming bout.

Tyson, 57, is set to come out of retirement to face off against Paul, a 27-year-old former YouTuber turned professional boxer.

With an illustrious career that includes six heavyweight titles, Tyson remains one of the most iconic figures in the sport of boxing.

His last professional bout dates back to 2005, but his return to the ring in recent years, including a 2020 exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr., has reignited excitement among fans worldwide.

In contrast, Paul has swiftly risen through the ranks of the boxing world since making his professional debut in 2020. With a record of 9-1, Paul has garnered attention for his impressive performances against opponents such as Tommy Fury and former UFC star Nate Diaz.

However, facing Tyson marks a significant step up in competition for the young fighter, presenting him with his most high-profile challenge to date.

The much-anticipated showdown between Tyson and Paul is scheduled to take place on July 20 in Arlington, Texas.

With the event set to be broadcast on Netflix, Paul has dubbed it “the biggest fight in history,” underscoring the magnitude of the matchup for both fighters and fans alike.
