Optimistic expectations surrounded him when the Miami Dolphins secured Igbinoghene. However, the three seasons that Igbinoghene played in Miami fell short of projected success as he started merely five games during his tenure.
The anticipation that followed this potential NFL star’s entrance into the Miami squad seems to dwindle with time.
After an unfulfilling stint with the Dolphins, the tables turned yet again as Igbinoghene was traded to the renowned Dallas Cowboys.
He featured in five games, with most of his appearances being on special teams. The entire journey marked limited opportunities not living up to the initial aspirations sketched out for him.
The uncertainties around Igbinoghene’s future have been dispelled as the Commanders enlist the player.
It may appear unprecedented, considering his last few seasons. Still, Commander’s head coach Dan Quinn deems the player deserving of another shot at defensive play.
Dan Quinn served as the defensive coordinator for the Cowboys during the previous season when Igbinoghene made his brief appearances.
This familiarity seems to have ignited Quinn’s faith in this former first-round pick despite a rough track record.
