The Bengals are capable of lifting the Superbowl according to new signing Sheldon Ranklin.
The veteran defensive end signed a two-year deal for Cincinnati and gave his first press conference on Monday.
“(It’s) a team that’s truly capable of going and winning it all,” Rankins said.
“A few years ago this team was in the Super Bowl and we’ve got all the makings to make that kind of run again. So, I’m looking forward to it.”
He further said the Bengals is “a place that feels like home” and “(the Bengals) truly want me, and want to display my abilities on the field, off the field, as a leader, as a player.”
Ranklin was signed as the 12th overall pick in the 2016 draft.
Playing for the Texans last campaign the nine-season veteran recorded 6.0 sacks, nine tackles for loss and 10 quarterback hits.
