defensive end Chase Young has inked his commitment to the Saints. Entering the league in 2020, Young has displayed an impeccable performance rotation, despite facing significant hurdles like a torn ACL.
Chase Young hit the football scene with a bang as the second overall pick of the 2020 draft with Washington, where he secured 7.5 sacks and was crowned the defensive rookie of the year.
Despite being hampered by a severe ACL injury, which led to an extended rehab process, causing him to miss the chunk of the 2022 season, Young made a powerful comeback.
Upon return, Young managed to post another 7.5 sacks while playing with the Commanders and 49ers in his second season.
Even though his injuries “definitely hindered a few things” for him, that didn’t stop him from showcasing his stellar skills.
“I feel like in every area of my game, I can grow,” Young commented on his potential and future trajectory.

He truly believes that despite the setbacks, they’ve only presented him with an opportunity for untapped potential.
Still considered a young player in the game, Young exudes an eagerness to keep growing and mastering his skills.
“I’m just still in the journey to be the best player I can be,” he said in a recent interview.
After signing a one-year deal with the Saints, Young is well-positioned to cash in if he manages to take a giant leap with the Saints in his fifth NFL season.
