While talks continue according to insiders, questions around the extent of Kelce’s involvement remain if he continues his professional football career.
Officials were not available for comments, and CAA, the agency representing Kelce, could not be reached directly.
Initially hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, aired on Fox’s broadcast network, before moving into syndication and then to Nickelodeon with John Cena at the helm.
the traditional format of the game show focused on children participating. However, the reboot aims to bring celebrities into the limelight in its new version.
Kelce will not be the first athlete to take on the role of a game show host, following the footsteps of the likes of Michael Strahan of “The $100,000 Pyramid” and Peyton Manning of “College Bowl.”
These past successes may hint towards a lucrative future for Kelce in the realm of game shows.
