The prominent guard of Cleveland Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell, will not be able to play for a week due to his nose injury. He has also undergone surgery to repair a nasal fracture and has also missed a game against the Indiana Pacers.
He suffered a nasal fracture in the game against the Houston Rockets and he had missed seven games earlier as well. Against the Rockets, he was hit accidentally by Cavs member Tristan Thompson.

Mitchell was averaging 27.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. The Cavaliers are occupying the third position in the Eastern Conference and for the season, they are 43-25. The point guard has been fundamental to taking the Cavaliers to an impressive spot.
However, his return depends on his medical evaluation and as per multiple reports, he could be back on the active roster by next Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets.
