The Chicago Bears supporters have been incredibly excited ever since the squad secured the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. One of the names circling in the vortex is USC’s star quarterback and Heisman Trophy recipient, Caleb Williams.
His skills and prominent talent have drawn scouts and fans equally. Williams had also established himself as the initial selection of the Bears, despite the competition the position has been receiving from all sides. Other top-choices are Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels.

Williams also shared, regarding the Bears as per Pro Football Talk, “That’s a good question. I wouldn’t say my full expectation. Obviously, things can happen, things can change throughout this time. I think it’s around 33 days or so . . . until April 25 and so a lot can change. You take it day by day. And handle and control what you can control.”

Williams has also recently mentioned, during one of the segments of FS1, “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd, that he would be excited about his possibility of joining the Chicago club. Williams also revealed when asked about joining Bears, “I think it’s going to another big city, I’ve heard that they love football, so if that’s the place, I am excited for that. The fans love football and it’s one of the biggest things that I care about is a place that cares. If that was a place, then I’d be excited.”
He further continued, “Get ready to go and win games is what I am excited for. Most importantly, I’m caring about football, whether its’ the fans, on the organisation, my teammates, myself. Caring about ball games and winning ball games is the most important thing.”
However, as Williams has stated, a lot can change throughout this time, nevertheless, the Bears supporters are anticipating what Williams will bring if he gets on the squad.
