ESPN’s Ryan Clark shows off versatility and is looking to make it big in the broadcast world, competing alongside the likes of Stephen A Smith and Pat McAfee

Football analyst Ryan Clark is becoming one of the most popular pundits on air.

The former safety spent 13 seasons in the NFL playing for the Giants, Washington and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He was part of the Steelers team who defeated the Cardinals in the 2008 Superbowl.

He was reportedly unhappy with ESPN and their delayed contract offer but three weeks ago it was revealed he verbally agreed to a new deal, worth around $2 million.

He signed up in 2015 for ESPN as an analyst and has been on NFL Live, SportsCenter, Get Up, First Take and now Inside the NFL.

In 2023, Clark was named winner of the “Outstanding Personality/Studio Analyst” category at the 44th annual Sports Emmy Awards.

He even recently was the host for First Take covering the major league baseball and has even need part of the NBA, notably covering Zion Williamson, who scored 28 points in the Pelicans versus Nets game.

Clark is not on the level of Mike Greenberg, Stephen A. Smith, Scott Van Pelt or Pat McAfee, yet but is making up ground.
