Former Rams NFL legend Aaron Donald reveals reason behind retirement after 10 seasons

NFL fans were left in shock when Aaron Donald, the renowned defensive force and former Los Angeles Rams star, announced his retirement after a decade of dominating the league.

Donald said, “I"m complete. I"m full. “I think the passion to play the game is no longer there for me. I will always love football, but to think about going through camp and another 17-game season, I just don"t have the urge to push myself to do that anymore."

At 32 years old, Donald emphasized feeling burnt out and satisfied with his accomplishments over the past decade, signaling that it was time to transition to the next phase of his career and life.

“I"m satisfied with what I was able to do in 10 years," Donald remarked. “It"s time for me to retire from football and jump into the next step of my career and my life."

Reflecting on his illustrious NFL journey, Donald highlighted an impressive list of accolades, emphasizing that he has nothing left to prove on the field.

“Ten years, 10 Pro Bowls. Eight All-Pros, three Defensive Player of the Year awards, Defensive Rookie of the Year, two NFC championships, three NFC West championships, two Super Bowl appearances, and one victory," Donald listed.
