Television sports personality Colin Cowherd can be brutally honest with his sports takes and this time in was Zion Williamson on the receiving end of his outrage.
Coming out of Duke University, Williamson was supposed to develop into of the game’s elite players. Now in his fifth year in the league, the power forward has struggled to reach the high expectations that were placed on him. Injuries have limited his appearances on the court with Williamson managing just 114 games over his first four seasons in the league. Williamson has also been criticized about his offseason routine and regular weight issue that could be another reason for his underwhelming perfomances.
Speaking with Jason McIntyre on a recent episode of his show “The Herd,” Cowherd was asked what he though about Zion losing 25 pounds and his new look physique.
“He doesn’t look skinny at all. That’s the report,” said Cowherd. “You think he’s look like he has lost 25 pounds?”
Cowherd: He doesn't look skinny at all… You think he looks like he has lost 25 lbs? … Nobody in New Orleans has abs… He's not even close to the face of the league, and a lot of that is Jambalaya pic.twitter.com/aCILFr487F

Zion Willaimson has started 57 of the teams 68 games and has been a key reason for the team’s strong season. He is averaging 22.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5 assists and .9 steals per game.
Whether he has lost 25 pounds or not, Williamson definitely looks leaner than he has in previous seasons. The two-time All-Star is playing some of the best basketball of his career under coach Willie Green. The New Orleans Pelicans sit fifth in the Western Conference with a 42-26 record. They are currently on a three-game winning streak and have won eight of their last ten games.
