In February 2024, Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, was caught on video chatting about Taylor Swift and her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Tight End, Travis Kelce. He joked that maybe Swift should have dated Rob Gronkowski, a former star player for the Patriots, instead of Kelce, because Gronkowski is better looking.
“Think about it: She was 18, 19 [years old] and she’s done pretty well. Except maybe she should’ve been dating Gronk [former Patriots star Rob Gronkowski]. He’s better looking," said Kraft.
Now, a month later, Gronkowski responded to Kraft"s joke during an episode of the "Eye On Foxborough" podcast. He joked back, saying that Kraft is always being playful and silly. Gronkowski then mentioned his girlfriend, Camille, who used to be a Patriots cheerleader. He noted that they make a great couple and thanked Kraft for his remarks, including the flattering comment about Gronkowski"s looks compared to Kelce"s.
“Kraft is always being silly," Gronkowski said. "He’s always being silly. But I’m very happy to be with with my girl, Camille. She’s a sweetheart. She was actually a Patriots cheerleader. We go down in history. but Mr. Kraft always has a job. And he’s always got silly jokes out there too," said Rob.
Gronkowski also acknowledged that Travis Kelce is a handsome guy but playfully suggested that if Kraft thinks he"s better looking, then he must be a “10.2" out of 10.
Rob Gronkowski and Camille Kostek"s relationship began with a meet-cute in 2013, where they crossed paths at a charity event despite their different professions—Gronkowski, a Patriots star tight end, and Kostek, a cheerleader.
Fast forward to March 2024, they"ve celebrated a decade together. Gronkowski"s retirement in 2022 has allowed them more time together. NFL fans hope to see them hitched super soon!
