Odell Beckham Jr. Set to Visit Dolphins As Miami Looks to Add Another Weapon to Star-studded Offense

On Sunday, Odell Beckham Jr. posted a farewell message to his former team the Baltimore Raves all but confirming that he would not be returning to the organization for another season. That led to a flurry of rumors on where the talented wide receiver could end up.

NFL insider Josina Anderson confirmed in a recent X post that Beckham Jr. would be visiting the Miami Dolphins on Thursday. Partnering with Tua Tagovailoa would be an exciting prospect for Beckham, who has struggled to make the same impact over the previous two seasons that he did early in his career.

The New York Giants drafted Beckham Jr. with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 draft after an impressive three-year run with the LSU Tigers. The 6-foot receiver has evolved into one of the games top receivers since making his NFL debut.

Over nine seasons in the league, Beckham has racked up 566 receptions for a total of 7932 yards and 60 total touchdowns. He was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2014, selected to the Pro Bowl on three different occasions and won a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams.

Beckham spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year, $15 million deal (with added incentives). It will be interesting to see what the market is for the 31-year-old receiver who started just six games last season and recorded three touchdowns.

The Miami Dolphins remain one of the most talented offensive teams in the NFL with several high profile weapons on the roster. Another issue for Odell Beckham Jr. could be the level on competition on the roster with receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle both set to return next year.
