Wide receiver Keenan Allen started his football career proper at the (Golden) Bears in college and is now a Chicago Bear in the NFL.

The wide receiver was traded to Chicago from the Chargers, who drafted Allen 76th overall in the 2013 draft.

"To be clear, only one offer was made," Allen"s agent Joby Branion said on X. "It was a pay cut for 2024 with a 2-year extension (and both years had even deeper cuts to his current pay). We made a counter offer. It was rejected. Then we were informed of the [Chargers’] intention to trade," he said.

He was traded in exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2024 draft.

He is a six-time Pro Bowler including last season and has 10,530 receiving yards and 59 receiving touchdowns.
