Standing at 6-foot-4, Green, aged 30, is no stranger to the Bulls organization, having previously had stints with the team from 2020 to 2023.
His recent playing time has been with the Santa Cruz Warriors, the Golden State Warriors’ G League affiliate, during the current season.
During his time with the Bulls last season, Green showcased his skills in 32 games, averaging 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. He boasted an impressive shooting percentage of 56% from the field and 32% from beyond the arc.
Green’s journey in the 2023-24 season saw him initially sign a training camp deal with the Golden State Warriors in October. However, he was waived shortly thereafter.
Subsequently, he joined the Santa Cruz Warriors, where he posted notable numbers, averaging 12.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals across 10 games.
With previous NBA experience with both the Bulls and the Boston Celtics, Green brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.
Currently, the Chicago Bulls hold a record of 34-36, placing them in ninth position in the Eastern Conference standings.
As they aim to secure a spot in the playoffs, the addition of Green provides valuable depth to their roster, potentially strengthening their chances of making a successful run in the upcoming postseason.
