According to sources, the Kansas City Chiefs are in the final stages of a deal to send standout cornerback L’Jarius Sneed to the Tennessee Titans.
In exchange for Sneed, the Chiefs are anticipated to receive a 2025 third-round pick, along with a swap of seventh-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft,

The impending trade follows extensive negotiations between Sneed and the Titans, culminating in an agreement that is poised to make Sneed one of the highest-paid cornerbacks in NFL history, pending the successful completion of his physical examination.
Kansas City had previously placed the nonexclusive franchise tag on Sneed earlier this month, granting him the opportunity to engage in discussions with other teams, ultimately facilitating the trade process.
The Titans, who recently secured veteran cornerback Chidobe Awuzie on a lucrative three-year, $36 million contract during free agency, will fortify their defensive backfield with the addition of Sneed.
Alongside Awuzie, Sneed is expected to assume a pivotal role as an outside cornerback, with Roger McCreary slated to operate as the nickel cornerback.
During his tenure with the Chiefs, Sneed has amassed impressive statistics, tallying 10 interceptions and 40 passes defended in 57 regular-season games, along with one interception and seven passes defended in 13 postseason appearances.
Upon the completion of the trade, the Chiefs will benefit from significant salary cap relief, freeing up $19.8 million for future roster adjustments and acquisitions.
