Hunter shared a video on YouTube, where he initially pretended to be looking at the house before revealing the surprise.
His mother was ecstatic when she realized the house was a gift from her son, and confetti filled the air.
Hunter, who was once the top-ranked high school recruit in the nation, chose to play at FCS Jackson State under the guidance of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.
When Sanders moved to the University of Colorado, Hunter followed and had an impressive first season, recording 57 receptions for 721 yards and five touchdowns, as well as making 22 tackles and three interceptions.
Hunter’s name, image, and likeness (NIL) value is estimated at $2.4 million, making him one of the highest-valued college athletes.
The NIL rules now allow college athletes to profit from endorsement deals and monetize their star status before turning pro.
It is expected that Hunter will have a successful career in the NFL, but he is already making a positive impact by being able to support his family.
Hunter previously surprised his fiancée with a custom Hello Kitty Tesla and a diamond engagement ring.
Travis Hunter’s generosity and talent make him a standout college football player.
Hunter, the award-winning college football player, fulfilled his mother’s dream by buying her a $2.4 million house in Savannah, Georgia.
He surprised her with the gift in a heartfelt video, where she expressed overwhelming joy and gratitude.
Hunter’s mother will move near his girlfriend’s parents, making family visits more convenient.
Despite tough competition, Hunter has been labeled the “best overall player” in college football by analyst Carl Reed Jr. due to his exceptional skills on both offense and defense.
Reed Jr. believes that if Hunter remains healthy, he could be a strong contender for the Heisman Trophy.
In the 2023 season, Hunter showcased his versatility with impressive stats on offense and defense.
His success has led to numerous NIL deals and an estimated valuation of $2.4 million.
Hunter is expected to continue performing at a high level next season, following in the footsteps of his mentor, Deion Sanders.
His exceptional ability as a two-way player sets him apart in the sport.
Through his talent and success, Hunter was able to give his mother a remarkable gift, highlighting his kind-hearted nature.
