Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard tend to get the headlines after a Milwaukee Bucks win but people seem to forget just how important Khris Middleton is to this lineup. The 6’7″ forward has been a staple in the Bucks lineup since joining the team back in 2013, featuring in the over 800 games for the organization.
An ankle injury saw Middleton miss a significant portion of the 2024 season. He was out of action from February 6 and only returned for the March 17 matchup versus the Phoenix Suns. Since his return, the Bucks are 3-1 and playing high level team basketball.
During last night’s battle versus a strong Oklahoma City team, Middleton contributed with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to secure a triple-double to help guide his team to a big win that sent a statement to the league. Asked about Middleton’s performance after the game, former MVP Giannis was full of praise for the three-time All-Star.
“Playing with Khris is easy,” said Giannis after the Bucks recent 118-93 win over the Thunder.

Middleton has featured in just 46 games this season and is averaging 15 points, 5.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game.
The Milwaukee Bucks are hanging on second place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 46-25 record. After a shaky start the season, the Bucks are heating up and the right time and Middleton looks fit and healthy for a critical stage of the season.
