The general manager of the San Francisco 49ers, John Lynch, has reportedly shared that both cornerback Charvarius Wars and tight end George Kittle will be expected to be back for training camp. They both underwent core muscle surgery in the offseason.

According to Mat Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area, “George Kittle and Charvarius Ward both had core muscle surgery this offseason and will be back, fully cleared, for training camp, #49ers GM John Lynch said.”
Ward had earlier posted about his surgery on social media; however, there was no further information regarding his surgery. Last season, he suffered a groin injury but participated in all the games.
As per Pro Football Talk, Kittle also suffered a groin injury in the last campaign but was active in all the games. Further information on both their procedures is not available, however, once they are cleared, they will both join the training camp.
