One of the most prominent running backs for the Cleveland Browns is Nick Chubb, who has been with the squad since 2018. He has totaled one thousand total yards in his first five seasons with the Browns.
Apart from setting impressive marks, he has also registered 48 rushing touchdowns. He was selected by the Browns in the 2018 NFL Draft in the second round as the 35th pick.
The four-time Pro Bowl running back, suffered a serious injury to his knee last season, which unfortunately ended his season. However, now he is still in the rehabilitation process.
The general manager of the Cleveland Browns, Andrew Berry, recently shared during the NFL annual meetings and via Akron Beacon Journal, he mentioned, “I think that as we think about it, until we see him in the next couple months, I think the next, call it three months, will be pretty telling in terms of his potential readiness for early in the season.”
Further continuing, “We are going to be conservative in terms of our approach in our assessment with building the roster because he is coming off of a major knee injury. But I do have to give him a lot of credit. He’s done a really, really nice job. But I think we’ll have a better sense. Don’t hold me to it, but I think probably if you ask me that question around the draft, I may have maybe a little bit more of a specific answer.”
Andrew Berry: We expect Nick Chubb to be with us. He’s doing a fantastic job with his rehab.
Berry said there can’t be any real timetable for Chubb’s return to game action until he gets to the next phases of his rehab in the coming months.

The running back underwent two surgeries and there is still time for him before the NFL season begins. However, the general manager has disclosed that they will be stable in their approach and will proceed towards this matter with great consideration as Chubb is one of the fundamental players of the squad.
