During a conversation with Lex Fridman, UFC president Dana White reflected on some of the most significant moments in UFC history. He discussed the intense rivalry between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor and Jon Jones"s status as the greatest of all time (GOAT).
White defended the UFC"s handling of the infamous brawl between Nurmagomedov and McGregor, stating they were reporting what occurred as they were responsible for it.
"Nobody can debate who’s the greatest of all time. It’s absolutely, positively Jon Jones. He’s never been beaten in the octagon, ever. I think that Khabib had the potential to be in the running for [GOAT], he just didn’t stick around." : Said Dana White

According to White, there"s no debate about who holds the title of MMA GOAT—it"s unquestionably Jon Jones. White emphasized Jones" undefeated record in the octagon and his unmatched resume.
While White acknowledged Khabib Nurmagomedov"s potential for GOAT status, he believes Nurmagomedov"s decision to retire early prevented him from reaching the same heights as Jones.
When discussing Conor McGregor, White praised him as a great collaborator but noted his tendency to be late. White suggested that they address McGregor"s UFC return once he has finished promoting his movie.
White also mentioned plans for Jones to face Stipe Miocic once Jones is fully recovered and ready to compete again.
