San Francisco Niners" GM John Lynch gave an assurance on crowd speculations that the team"s star wide receiver, Brandon Aiyuk, isn"t part of the trading block.
“I promise you, nothing"s going on there," Lynch said when queried about the potential trade-off rumors surrounding the 26-year-old NFL player.
#49ers GM John Lynch again says there have been no trade discussions and the team does not intend to trade WR Brandon Aiyuk. Says SF has been in contact with Aiyuk about an extension and he and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin joked about the rumors at Michigan's pro day.

When the topic of Aiyuk"s impending extension surfaced, Lynch verified that the Niners are actively discussing the matter with him.
“We"re actively talking with Brandon, trying to figure something out," “We have a good history of working with the guys we want to get done to get something done, and it takes two sides. So, can we do that? We"ll see. There [are] a number of different directions that it could go but we appreciate the heck out of Brandon and who he is as a player, and we want him to be a part of the Niners. We"re going to work towards making that a reality."
San Francisco had drafted Aiyuk as the 25th overall pick in the 202 NFL Draft, offering him a four-year, $12.5 million deal. The team went on to exercise a $14,124,000 team option for Aiyuk in 2023.
Aiyuk"s record of 75 receptions, 1,342 yards, and seven touchdowns spotlighted last season, one of his best yet.
Lynch confidently stated that Aiyuk would continue to be an integral part of the team"s key strategies moving forward.
However, the wideout seems to be awaiting some solid action towards this commitment. He hinted at a possible exit if not compensated adequately through a series of suggestive emojis posted on social media this Monday.
