Seven-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady is a proud uncle. On March 25, the former Patriots star gave a shoutout to his niece Maya Brady on Instagram after she crushed two home runs for UCLA against the University of Washington. This wasn’t just any feat. Maya’s two homeruns landed her the third spot on UCLA’s all-time home run list!
Tom, ever the champion himself, couldn’t help but brag a little, saying “Sorry peeps it just runs in the family. LFG, Maya Brady!”
Maya is a senior shortstop at UCLA and has been a star since her freshman year in 2020, earning the title of Softball America Freshman of the Year. Maya was the 2023 Pac-12 Player of the Year and the conference’s batting champion.
Sports seem to run in the Brady family.
Maya Brady’s mother is Maureen Brady. Maureen herself was a college softball athlete and quite accomplished. She was an All-American pitcher at Fresno State University, leading her team to two Women’s College World Series titles and ranking high in the school’s history for wins
