Both basketball analysts Jay Williams and Mike Greenberg believe UConn is almost on par with an NBA outlier team.
UConn have only played two NCAA games smashing No. 16 seed Stetson on the weekend, winning by 39. Two days later, the Huskies No.9 ranked Northwestern by 17 points.
“UConn, it’s not even a question,” Williams said when asked who the most impressive team in the NCAA Tournament has been thus far.
“They are a freight train. That’s the way they beat you, they out-execute you. But their attention to detail and how they’re coached makes them the best team in the country.”
Mike Greenberg responded by saying, “Yeah, they would make the playoffs in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. That’s how good they are.”
The assertion is bold, and probably, likely not true as any NBA team, even the Pistons should easily defeat the Huskies.
